I'm Mary Hallie,

it's so nice to meet you!

I'm a mom, wife, photographer, and first-generation farmer here in East Tennessee.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a journalism degree, fully convinced I’d be the next great photojournalist for National Geographic or something. Instead, I fell into TV production (kind of by accident) and I loved it. I spent nearly eight years working on a true crime television show before God called me back to doing photography full-time.

Now, I'm blessed to photograph people and farms all across East Tennessee. I consider my images to be documentary-style. While we'll always get those posed photos for your holiday card or to frame for grandma, it's the candid moments I'm most drawn to, because those are the moments that really capture your story.

Let's

capture

your memories together.
